Here is a few body lines being added. These are what makes the 1968-70 Dodge Chargers what they are.
Now for the big part of the build. Correcting those open wheel wells on the front fenders. First a body line has to be found. Then backing must be added inside the fender well. Masking tape is used for this. A correct arc is found.
Now the Arc was found, we made a temp with the making tape once that was done we cut that out. Now here you can see the pieces have been made and cut out.
Now the pieces was glued into place and filled. Sanding was done to smooth it out
Here is the process after smoothing to light coat of primer to a coat of gray primer. Now we have a correct arc wheel well.
Now as we move onto the driver side door. We need to fix that molded in and on door handle. Time to carefully remove it and correct it!
Another light coat of primer was sprayed
Now we move onto the front end and pass side. We still need to correct these areas yet. So lets start!
Here is a few photos of what the kit parts in there baggies looks like.
Now we super glued the front valance panel into place here because we really need to work on this piece and correct it and add a lot more detail to it.
Now we work on the front end here, we need to make a lot of corrections in this area. We started the front valance corrections and also starting to map out the correct firewall as while.
