You can see the chassis and interior tube here.
Now here PIP painted the interior roof area with a Testors Tan out of the bottle with a brush. A few layers was done here.
Now if you’re wondering why is the interior tube looking like this for. Well PIP had to make a few tiny adjustments on things. Plus make a new center hoop.
Once things was done, it was time for another mock up with the new stuff in place. Was things going to fit correct or be out of line. Well it turns out things fit very well. By the way, the rims you see in tan color is what PIP makes.
Now you can see what the interior tube looks like and the level of detail that PIP puts into their builds..
That little CB unit is also a item that PIP makes and is also TV series correct too. By the way the Charger scripts seen on the floor was hand painted on the Embossing Powder.
Here is a custom made hurst shifter, two of these was made, one was made out of stainless while one was made out of Everygreen stock.
Now comes the custom made steering that tilts. This steering wheel is all Evergreen. The turn signal levers are cloth pins (You can pick them up at most hardware stores Or Wal-Marts or General Dollar Stores). Now the custom roll cage was painted in Gloss Black.
A quick mock-up to see how things will look... looks great! By the way the Orange paint used is by Master Testors Flaming Orange.
Now comes the engine block. It’s painted in Testors Orange bottle paint. The valve covers are also custom made and so is half the parts on them. They was painted in Flat Black. The chrome you see is Metal Aluminum brush on. The Pulley’s was covered in Flat Black spray paint & Alclad 2 Chrome was brushed on.
